This heathen that everyone knew in High School finally "came to himself" (Luke 15:17) at the age of 35 and answered the call to give over my life to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am living proof that Almighty God can make chicken salad out of chicken.....manure.
Went to Russia and Eastern Europe in July 1992 on an evangelical mission. Spent 7 days in Moscow and 3 days in Budapest, Hungary.
Taught Bible Study to the inmates of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Jail most every Sunday morning for 22 years.

Sail the Caribbean on a private sloop for a month. Moor off a different deserted island every night. Catch fish for dinner in the mornings and scuba dive the reefs in the afternoons. Explore the islands for waterfalls and fresh water swimming holes. Avoid the pirates.

This may sound crazy after reading so many entries about Mrs. Jackson's class, but I would put in as much effort trying to get into her class as I did trying to get into Mrs. Stowe's class and avoiding Mrs. Jackson's.
English composition turned out to be my biggest struggle going into college. I wouldn't become even marginally proficient until after college writing business proposals.
