Dear Fred,

I can't believe that you are gone.  We've known each other for so long.  Who's going to sing Roy' songs for us now.  You Rest In Peace now and when we meet again on the otherside, I'll be looking for you or listening for your beautiful voice.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.  I wish them peace and love, since they were lucky to have you all this time.  I feel as if my heart is breaking while I'm writing this final farewell.

Love Mary

There will never be another Fred. Can't find the right word(s) to describe the feeling I got when I opended my profile and has messages from him. He had a big heart. I too remember him signing Roy O., one of my favorites, but what I remember most is that smile and the way he would tilt his head back when he unleashed his infectious laugh. Fred, you have shown us that life can end at any time. And you have shown us it's easy to express love.

Sorry I'm just now posting. Have been battling some demons of my own.

I am so sorry to hear that Fred passed away.  I talked to him a couple of month ago.  He was one of the main reasons that I wanted at least one of my children to be interested in music.  He was so very talented.  My mom always loved Fred as well and talked about him often.  He was one of her favorite students and he told me in our last conversation how much she meant to him.

I love you Fred - I know heaven's rocking.   My mom's got to be thrilled to see you again.

I am reminded of how fragile life can be when I think about Fred. He was one of the first people to send me a message after I established my information on the class web site. I can't believe that in a span of just over a month that he has passed away. Steve Courtney

We missed you so much this week-end....you were not forgotten my childhood friend.  We know that you are in Heaven having a much better time than we can even imagine.    Love you and miss you.   The Salems were excellent, and to me made my whole 40th reunion experience so much better, but it would have been great to have you right in there with them.   We will all unite again soon.  Love you.  Donna

In hindsight, I didn't take the time to establish more of a renewed relationship with Fred. Our couple of on-line communications thru this website surely was insufficient, although enjoyable. I was actually looking forward to seeing him at the reunion. Now, again in retrospect, I wish I had requested an Orbison song at the reunion in his memory. fhd

You were there in spirit, Fred.....what a reunion is was........it reminds me of the reunion we'll someday have in heaven.  See you there, Fred......

One year ago today; how has a year passed already?  Still miss you, Fred, and think of you often.
