Steve was a quiet guy. I remember painting a sign for a band that he played in...drums, I think. Another one gone too soon.

I remember Steve as being really into being a Body Builder/Weightlifter. Just know he died way too young!

Steve lived for a short while in Summerville, SC. Don't remember why. But, he seemed to be trying to turn his life around

I remeber Steve from high school and his girlfriend that I had grown up with in elementary school. He was always so quite. I remeber him when Golds Gym was on Celanese Rd and I was working out there with my son. He was always there and always working toward the next level of competition. I left Golds Gym to start going to the Y and lost contact - later heard of his death.

I remember Steve.  He lived on Westerwood Dr.  What did he die from?

I used to lift weights with Steve and Bill Onley over at Confederate Park. He really was serious about it and it might have been part of his passing. Steve Courtney

I ran into to Steve one day in Augusta, GA along time ago. I couldn't believe I saw him there, he told me he was going to the Medical College of Georgia and was being treated for cancer. He had mentioned he could not believe it because he took special care of what he put in his body. He was proud of what he accomplished in weight lifting. I never saw him after that, when we graduated HS he, Jimmy Sulivan and I moved into an apartment together while going to school in Atlanta. Steve was a great guy with a great sense of humor. He was quiet until you got to know him. I am sure he is missed by many. I know it was great running into him that day, it brought back a lot of good memories.
