I agree Fred, Larry was a very fine person---quiet and reserved. I don't ever remember him saying anything bad about anybody. Do you remember what year he passed away? I remember reading it in the Herald aka (THE EVENING HERALD). It will always be the Evening Herald to us old farts.

Donna,

I think he was barely in his 20s when he died.  I wish I had been there.  His family lived on Jones Avenue at the corner where Eastside Baptist Church was once located.  He was smart as a whip.  For a few years we were inseparable.  He was the sweetest individual.  Larry appreciated my humor more than anyone I've known since.  We laughed a lot, and we pondered the universe we had been plopped in.  I should have been there.
