Steve and I dated for a while...he had a troubled life and I am sad for that. Wish you were still here. Sending a rose to you.

Whenever I think about Steve, I remember seeing  him with all of his brothers and sisters.  I also look at Steve's picture and am reminded of a student I now teach....Steve and my student look just alike.......I didn't know Steve well...but I pictured him in my mind when I saw his name, so I remembered him.   Steve....I'm sorry life was rough for you.....here's another rose to let you know you are remembered....

Steve always seemed to be happiest and at his best when he was playing music - not music (the instruments I could play - radio & turntable)

He PLAYED MUSIC. My memory is Steve upfront, left hand with a handkerchief wrapped around a horn, cranking out THE HORSE or some other demanded song. He could hold everybody's attention!

Steve was more than just a friend to me. He is one of the reasons l looked forward to going to school, to see what he would come up with to make me laugh. I lost touch with him in his last years, l know he had some problems. He passex away the same week as my dad so l missed his funeral. I heard from my brother that Steve's sister said the last things he talked about was the fun we had in high school.
