I didn't know Debbie well in high school, but the summer after we started hanging out together.  By fall of 1970 we were 'clubbing' in Charlotte almost every weekend, and Debbie was involved in my first (secret) marriage in a big way - but that's a long story!

I was a bridesmaid in her wedding at the old First Baptist Church in downtown RH; following her marriage we lost contact with each other.  I would hear of her occasionally over the years from mutual friends and/or family, and I know she had a lot of hard times and I'm sorry for that.

Hope she is at peace now, and I'm choosing to remember the good times we had together instead of the later sadness.

Debbie and I had good times in a High School. I especially remember a slumber party at her house in country club. We had a great time. I'm sure golfers  wondered the next day where the flags went. It was years later that I ran into her again. She worked at Good Motor Company for a while. Debbie you are missed.
