Jan was a treasured friend to many and never met a stranger. Her love for others defined who she was as a person. She was a member of First ARP Church. Jan was always listening, praying as a dedicated Prayer Warrior, and caring for everyone she encountered. She loved spending time with her family and friends, whether it was at Lakes Wateree, Wylie or Hartwell, the Clemson football games, the Carolina Cup or just hanging out with her loved ones wherever they gathered. She would arrive immaculately dressed and light up the room with her contagious smile and spirit, making everyone feel uniquely special and loved. She will be greatly missed.

Jan and I attended WTS for elementary school. We were close friends. I remember spending lots of time at her home. Like Jan, her Mom and Dad were special people, too.  She will be remembered as a warm, caring and loving person. I was hoping to see her at our 2020 Class Reunion. Thoughts and prayers go out to her family and dear friends.

Jan was a very special person!  In high school, she used to ride us around all over town. Even trips to Kannapolis to see Teresa & Susan. I loved her Mom & Dad and even though Jan was spoiled, she never acted spoiled. Jan was beautiful, kind, generous, loving and always had a smile for everyone. I hadn't seen Jan in a few years, just chats on Facebook, but she made a mark on my life and I will never forget her & will always love her!

I remember Jan as always smiling and very friendly. I had a couple of classes with her.  I also remember the green Cougar she drove.  I'm sure she made it to the light .  God is good.

We are all very lucky to have made it this long.

I have known Jan since kindergarden at WTS. We shared many memories and laughs through the years.  I remember walking down to her house from school and riding in gocart.  We carpooled in high school. I’ll never forget her new cougar. We had so so much fun in it. She navkec out of our driveway and hit a tree. Boy was she scared. Turned out no major damage. We laughed many mornings as we rode to school.  We will miss her ever present smile and positive attitude. RIP Jan
